It was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. U2 was great! They are SO GOOD live!Bono appeared to be really emotional about Poland, dedicated "Magic drug" to Pope, during New Year's Eve we made a Polish flag - people standing in the center were waving red clothes while people sitting around white ones-Bono was moved and bowed to us with respect.The audience was great! Much better than 8 years ago in Warsaw.We were singing loud and interreacting with Bono and The Edge.Unforgettable experience, not only musical but ... much more meaning behind ...

I was on the stadium and it experience 'll stay inside me for the rest of my life for sure. The crowd create a special atmosphere and the band gave as a lot of energy and power I felt amazing lucky and i saw other people felt the same.See you on the next koncert in Poland..

I was moved, bought to tears, raised. This show appealed to my rational faculties as well as my emotional faculties. I did not like the new album much, but after hearing Miracle Drug, Sometimes, and Love and Peace, I have completely changed my mind. The stadium literally changed colors so many times this evening. The band produced a great landscape of sounds while the crew produced a brilliant set of lights. City of Blinding Lights is a visual and audio filled extravaganza. Tonight, I am not only proud to be Polish. I am proud to be a U2 fan, even though Bono will never be my daddy

At first i'd like to say it was my first u2 gig, so my opinion may not necessarily be very objective...
I'm just speechless and though i haven't sleep for the last 24 hours, i still can't get rid of excitement and thrill.
Having a seat high above just in front of the stage, i was easily able to have a look at the whole stadium.
U2 started as usual with the energetic trio Vertigo, I Will Follow and The Electric Co. The sound was pure, maybe sometimes just a bit "overguitarred". During New Year's Day the audience took their white (in sectors) and red (on the pitch) elements in order to form an enormous Polish flag. That succeeded and U2 musicians seemed to be quite delighted and surprised. City Of Blinding Lights were accompanied by fantastic visual effects. Miracle Drug was dedicated to the former Pope John Paul the Second and the lady from the audience were picked by Bono on the stage in order to translate the story of sunglasses. However, that young person had problems, not with her linguistic skills, but rather with limiting her emotions. Anyway, everyone knew what it was all about. Love And Peace Or Else, one of my favs, made me shake and shiver. I was also moved by the way Bono performed Bullet The Blue Sky and Please snippet. He was kneeling with a bandage on his eyes. During Pride the whole stadium waved and everybody clapped his/her hands. During Where The Streets Have No Name Bono's voval were hardly audible, but that's the rule for that tour as i can observe. Zoo Station and The Fly were another core point of that concert for me. The visualisation was unforgettable. Vertigo finished the concert and was even more humbling that its twin from the beginning. I just love Vertigo double. That's grat idea. Actually, it's the Vertigo Tour, isn't it?

I huge urge came over me during "I Still Haven't Found" and that was the urge for dinner. I headed to the concesion stands in the lobby of the great stadium and tried what was known as "The Polish Burger" (a nice young English-speaking Italian couple translated it for me). The burger was perhaps the most flavorful and satisfying burger I have ever eaten in my life. And who would have thought I'd have it in Poland?
Ah, Poland. I am partially Polish, so arriving in Poland wasn't "exciting," per se, but merely curious. Almost immediately, I felt and saw a country struggling to become new again. Even today, 60 years after the end of World War II, the country struggles with its image, economy, and identity. I also noticed the largest U2 audience of 20-30 somethings ever. There was barely an elderly person or a child.
The show was a solid one, as U2 plowed confidently through their most-played setlist of the European leg. I felt proud of many things during this show and, for some reason, extra-emotional. I was proud of the precision and flawlessness of "Miracle;" proud of Bono's high notes in "Sometimes;" proud of the Polish peoples' display of classy patriotism during "New Year's;" proud of Bono's terrible drumming in "Love And Peace;" proud of my Judaisim during "Zoo Station;" and proud of still not wanting to hear "With Or Without You."
I was also proud of The Polish Burger.
As my Polish great-grandmother used to tell me when I was 3, "meinch liveir pinshon pil boos" ("life is something to cherish").

This was my first U2 concert. It was great, it was fabulous, it was fantastic. The music, the lights, the performance was absolutely perfect. I almost cried when I saw the polish flag from the stadium and I saw the way Bono reacted. I had shivers when the 70,000 people were singing acapella "But I still haven't found what I'm looking for".I was moved by acustic version of "Yahweh". I'm very very happy that I could be there, that I could be part of this event, though I'm awake for 40 hours know. It was worth it, it really was. I hope that I will see them soon and this will be here, in Poland, where is the best audience on Earth.

What a night! What a show! What a crowd!
Finally, the 8 year wait was over and the ultra-enthusiastic polish fans got their chance to experience another U2 show on polish soil. It was worth it to wake up at 4 a.m, to travel almost 400 kms and to be early enough to get near the stage. Although the rain showers mared supports' performances it didn't wash away the emotions of U2-hungry audience. When the show started it was clear that the rain caused problems with the LED screen as it was absent for the first eight songs. Nevertheless the crowd went crazy from the first notes of "Vertigo" with the peak of emotions during "New Year's Day" when live polish flag was created by fans in the field and in the stands. Bono was clearly touched by the crowd reaction as he turned his black jacket inside-out and put it on the red side becoming part of the flag.
It's pointless to describe every song as no words can express the feelings, the emotions and the thrills I experienced with every note of the concert. For me the highlights were "Zoo Station" and "With or without you". "Zoo Station" rocked!!! I went double crazy on this one. I didn't expect them to play it ever again after Zoo TV tour and now I heard it live!!!!!! Amazing. "With or without you" put tears in my eyes. I love this tune and I realised that I could travel thousand miles only to hear this song.
U2 forever!!!!!

I wanto to add how I found Bono reaction on "the flag effect". I was wandering if Bono had known something before the show, but now I'm sure he didn't. When the song began, I took off my red t-shirt and turned around and saw white tribune (some 30 thousand people) and then I was sure it would succeed, then I was waiting for his reactions... Bono approached the microphone and... I will never forget his face... really shocked, stood for a while, then took off sunglasses, closed his eyes and bow his head and put his right hand on heart... and later took off the jacket, turned it inside out and it became red, put it on and stayed with this red jacket on... he was really deeply moved... That was great idea, outstanding effect and I'm sure no one will ever forget the moment, and Bono and the whole band will remeber it too...
I wish I was in Berlin tomorrow........ or in some other Vertigo place....

I come from New Delhi to see U2. Polish saw me as idiot when I was holding white cloth to form the Polish flag. I yelled: "Solidarity, brother. The people looked at me and they took my hand and raised it high as we sang New Year's Day together. The most poignant moment came when Bono sang the key lyric to the song: "We can be one." If any concert could be more moving and political, it was this one. This was the first time I ever saw U2, and from what I could tell, I was the only person of Indian descent there. It did not matter at all. Tonight, the Polish and this lone Indian engaged in an intercultural dialogue only a U2 show could generate. We held each other during One and sang together during the communal prayer of Yahweh. This show is beyond adjectives. I am limited by the words I use and I just don't want to say anymore because that's how special it was. One Polish fellow grabbed me and said, "Oh you look so Polish tonight." An obvious pun on City of Blinding Lights. I do wish that U2 will come to New Delhi. I know a great stadium there that's dying for their sounds.
I was fortunate enough to meet Shawn Bison who is traveling through Europe seeing the band. I wish I could only be as fortunate. Bison and I met as we ate some Polish Burgers. I was particulary not fond of them, but Mr. Bison seemed to eat the burger with such a delicate precision. I advised him not to sing with his mouth open.
Thank you, U2... we can and we will be one.

Wow! This is it, this is U2. It's been 8 years since they've played in Poland. The crowd gathered under a grey sky to remind U2 that there are living creatures in this part of Europe. And we did it. Incredible moments? Well, there were meny of them, but absolutely thrilling was New Year's Day with Polish national flag formed by ecstatic audience. No-one would have known that it'll work out. And it did work out. We proved that people can and are willing to organize themselves if they know what they want. We proved that during communism era by forming Solidarity trade union (which became Solidarity movement). Over ten million people were involved in it. Actually, it was us who started changing this part of Europe. Please remember that the symbol of that time is tearing down wall in Berlin, but the background for the change was and still is in Poland.
